Terms of service

1. Who we are
startyour.llc is a trade name of OSM Enterprises LLC, 7901 4th St N Ste 300, St. Petersburg, FL 33702, United States ("we"). We are a document preparation and filing service. We are not a law firm, accounting firm or registered agent ourselves; registered agent service is delivered by our partner Registered Agents Inc. under our contract with them.
2. What we do
We prepare and submit the formation documents for a limited liability company with the state you choose, appoint a registered agent, prepare and submit the EIN application (Form SS-4) to the IRS as your third-party designee, and provide an operating agreement template and an online order page. We do not give legal or tax advice; choices such as the state of formation and the tax treatment of your LLC are yours.
3. The 48-hour promise
Within 48 hours of receipt of payment we fill in and submit all forms that can be submitted at that time. Approval is decided by the state and the IRS; their processing times are outside our control. The SS-4 is submitted once the state has approved the formation. If we fail to submit within 48 hours through our own fault, our package fee is refunded in full.
4. Your information
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to act for every person named in the order. You confirm the responsible party has read and signed Form SS-4. Knowingly providing false information to a state or the IRS is a criminal offence in the United States; we will cancel orders we believe to be fraudulent.
5. Payment and fees
The total shown at checkout consists of our service fee, the first year of registered agent service and the state filing fee. State fees and the registered agent are passed on at cost. Registered agent service renews annually at the price shown on the pricing page unless cancelled before the renewal date. CORA bookkeeping is a separate subscription with CORA under its own terms. Our introduction to Mercury is a referral; the account decision is Mercury's.
6. Refunds
See our refund policy. In short: full refund before we start filing; after filing, state fees are non-refundable because the state has received them.
7. Rejections and corrections
If the state rejects a filing because of information you provided, we correct and refile once at no charge for our work; additional state fees are yours. If the state rejects because of our error, we correct and refile at our cost.
8. Registered agent
The registered agent address may be used only as the registered office with the state. It may not be used as a business, banking or marketplace address. State and legal mail is scanned to your order page; other mail is limited as described on our website.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the order concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses, for decisions of a state or the IRS, or for consequences of inaccurate information you provided.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Disputes are submitted to the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.
