What we collect
The details you enter to form your LLC: company name, owners and managers (names, addresses, dates of birth, nationality), the responsible party's SSN or ITIN if they have one, contact details, and your signature on Form SS-4. Payment details are handled by Stripe and never reach our servers.
Why
To file with the state, appoint the registered agent, apply for your EIN with the IRS and keep your order page up to date. Wyoming requires its registered agents to hold beneficial owner details; for Wyoming LLCs we pass those to the agent.
Who receives it
Registered Agents Inc. (registered agent and state filing), the Secretary of State of your state, the Internal Revenue Service, Stripe (payment), Postmark (e-mail), Telnyx (fax to and from the IRS), and CORA if you add bookkeeping. Data is stored in the United States.
How long
Order data is kept for as long as your LLC uses our registered agent service and seven years after, to meet record-keeping obligations. The SSN or ITIN is stored encrypted and used only on the SS-4.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data at hello@startyour.llc. Data we are legally required to keep (filings made on your behalf) is kept until that obligation ends.
Cookies
The website uses one functional cookie for the admin area and none for tracking. Your order page uses a private link instead of an account.
